Things I've recently learned

1. If you notice on Friday that the toilet in the hall bath is listing 15 degrees to starboard, you may have a problem with your subfloor.
2. The problem with your subfloor may be directly related to the pinhole leak in the water heater's intake pipe that your husband fixed the month previous.
3. Water from a pinhole leak can seep between subfloor and linoleum, causing your subfloor to completely disintegrate.
4. If your subfloor has completely disintegrated, you will have to tear out your ENTIRE bathroom.
5. A three-foot long manufactured stone vanity/sink unit will require the assistance of your brother-in-law in order to break it free from the wall and get it hauled out to the front deck.
6. A fiberglass bathtub can be demolished by a husband who is armed with an axe.
7. There is some truly, utterly hideous wallpaper lurking under the paneling in my bathroom. It conjures up a visual of avocados going to a gold glitter party held during a peachy sunset. This visual is amusing. The wallpaper is not.
8. If you leave a three-foot long manufactured stone vanity/sink unit on your deck, one of your cats will eventually pee in the sink.
9. A 54" inch bathtub costs twice as much as a 60" bathtub. I have only 56" of space available.
1o. Learning to do tiled walls is in my near future as a 54" inch bathtub surround is apparently worth its weight in gold.

Experience has taught me:
1. Something big will break somewhere else in the house approximately 2.5 months after we get this bathroom project all wrapped up.

Soon

There will be stuff here.

Soon.

Some of it will be old stuff. But it will be here.

Soon.
